Together Forever? - Chapter 54A ZUTARA   
"MOM!" Zuko cried, rushing down the gang plank, tears stinging his eyes. "Mom!"   
His feet pounded against the dirt as he rushed, his arms swinging wildly, toward the woman, who's back was turned to him, but who's black hair, and royal stance he would never forget. She turned slowly, her face curious, before it was wiped away and replaced instantaneously with and ecstatic surprise.   
"Zuko?" he saw her lips whisper his name, though he couldn't hear it. "Zuko!"

Together Forever? - Chapter 53A ZUTARA   
 Zuko found that he wasn't really sure how he'd gotten back to his apartment. There were vague memories of hugs and tears, then even vaguer memories of the floor coming up to greet him. He remembered arms both pulling and pushing him through the door, grips that were both gentle and angry. But, the most vivid memory of all, was Sokka's fist meeting his face with a horrible crunching noise that accompanied quite an amount of blood and a matching bruise on Sokka's face that had not even been inflicted by him, but by Sokka's own wife.

 With Katara safely dropped at her front door, Zuko started back toward the bakery, his hand shoved firmly in his pocket. He fingered the roll of parchment, the royal seal, the fur that held it safely to his body. Over and over until he was standing outside the bakery, then, when he was nearly at his apartment doors, he paused on the step and pulled it from his pocket. He stooped down and sat on the edge of a stair, his back rod-straight and his face the picture of stress and worry.   
 He unrolled the parchment and read, and read again. Dumbstruck, he stared at the parchment for only a moment, before Together Forever? - Chapter 52

Together Forever? - Chapter 51A ZUTARA   
 Zuko dropped to his knees when he first stepped off the boat, dry ground replacing the horribly choppy ocean. He hadn’t realized how much he truly missed the hard goodness of earth, or rather, ice, until he had gotten it back.  
 
 He heard a chuckle behind him and looked up to glare at Sokka, who was cocking his head and staring down at the man who seemed to be worshiping the ice. Zuko scrambled to his feet just as Katara stepped out from behind Sokka with a smirk making her face light up, and her arms wrapped around a large bundle. Zuko stepped forward and pulled the bundle from her arms, igno Together Forever? - Chapter 51

Procrastination.

Alright. I am procrastinating SLEEPING. I think that's a new low. Particularly since I’m totally exhausted from basically not sleeping for the last two straight weeks. Plus the fact that my friend is staying over tomorrow night, which basically means I’m not going to sleep THEN either. Anyway, on with my procrastination!

Have any of you heard of Nanowrimo ([link])? It’s actually quite awesome. I ALMOST committed myself to it… but then I realized I only had eight days to write 50,000 words. So, instead, I’m committing myself to doing it NEXT year. Anyone want to join me? It’s actually very cool. Go check it out!

Next. This procrastination is not only to keep myself from, (1) sleeping, and (2) doing what’s left of my homework, but it’s also to keep myself from tearing my hair out over Together Forever?. Over the last three weeks I have been writing about two sentences a day on the next chapter, and it is now a mirage of different writing styles all packed together in three pages of randomness. I’m not even completely sure what’s in it. Anyway, I’m seriously going to try and write it sometime over Thanksgiving break (starts the day after tomorrow, or tomorrow in fifteen minutes, considering it’s 11:45pm) and I will try to write the others then too. If I can’t figure out my next story over that time… then it’ll be all about Together Forever.

Lets just say, at this time, my head is spinning (a very good sign) with story ideas. I’ve got about six Zutara ideas, three Mortal Instruments, and about five (maybe four… the last one isn’t promising) for Nanowrimo next year. That’s a LOT of ideas for one head to process with very little sleep. And let me tell you, I have gotten a perpetual headache from them all running around up there. But, as I said, it’s a massively good sign. Cause, usually, this happens when I’m ABOUT TO COME OUT OF A WRITER’S BLOCK! Jump for joy, people! That’s a good thing for Together Forever? Trust me!

Anyway, I’m getting out of here. I’m probably going to go lay in bed and stare into the dark and think about nothing and everything.
